GOOD ANSWERS TO GOOD QUESTIONS

How can we get a table?

Reserve online here

We also take bookings for the same day by phone. The best times to call are between 1pm and 5.30pm. We do not take bookings by social media or email. Walk in customers are welcome and we keep a few tables for customers without bookings. If you turn up without a booking and we are full we will take your name and number and call you when we have a space. There are some great bars nearby to kill a little time while you wait.

PLEASE NOTE - If you book a table and don't turn up you will be charged £15 per person so please make a note of your booking day and time. You can cancel by clicking on the CANCEL BOOKING tab on your confirmation email. {if you cant find this email check your spam folder}

Do you cater for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes we do. We have lots of vegan and vegetarian regulars. There are however several restaurants in Brighton that have a wider variety of vegan dishes.

Do you cater for gluten-free diets?

Yes we do. We make a special yakitori sauce using gluten-free soy sauce that we can use if you are celiac. Please make sure you talk to the staff before you order.

Do you allow dogs?

Yes we do! Please make sure they're on their best behaviour.

Why is there no menu on the website?

Bincho Yakitori is inspired by the backstreet izakayas of Tokyo and other large cities in Japan. These places often without phones or internet rely purely on reputation and hark back to the pre-instagram days when you turned up at a restaurant genuinely excited, not knowing what you were going to eat or what your food was going to look like.

Do you cater for large groups?

The largest table we can accommodate is 10. the restaurant can be hired exclusively for groups up to 55.
